Webinar – relaxation techniques

Mental healthWebinar – relaxation techniques

Modern life, full of haste, tasks and goals, poses increasingly difficult challenges to us, causing a lot of frustration, tension, personal problems, burnout and stress.

Everyone tries to deal with difficult situations in their own way. However, our ways of coping with stress are not always perfect in given situations. Some people do it better, while others seem to do worse. There is no doubt, however, that chronic stress leads to serious psychosomatic diseases, affecting not only our mental but also physical health, and has a major impact on our work and life.

Thus, in the modern world it is so important to find a work-life-balance – a balance between our personal and professional life.

This is exactly why we recommend our webinar. It is worth noting that relaxation techniques are among the methods used to manage occupational stress.

This is a mental state resulting from the continuous interaction between requirements posed by the work environment and employee’s individual resources. Stress management is a structured effort aimed at elimination of occupational stress. If your employees participate in our workshop, we will introduce them to measures that will help reduce occupational stress in your organisation. The use of relaxation techniques positively affects the well-being, increases job satisfaction, improves interpersonal relations with colleagues and superiors, and decreases absenteeism.

Why use relaxation techniques?

Regular use of relaxation techniques:

  • reduces mental tension and anxiety,
  • reduces physical and muscle tension, so you can become calm and relaxed,
  • helps achieve a sense of satisfaction, reassurance and control over your actions,
  • reduces blood pressure and heart rate (thanks to deep breathing techniques, a large amount of oxygen is supplied to the blood, removing excess adrenaline and reducing negative symptoms of stress)

How does the webinar work?

Our webinar on relaxation techniques offers participants theoretical and practical knowledge thanks to:

  • general discussion on the problem of stress;
  • practical presentation of selected relaxation techniques;
  • presentation of some important consequences of living under long-term stress;
  • learning how to identify stress;
  • realising the influence of the fight-or-flight response on the physiological, psychological and emotional functioning of people;
  • learning different ways of how to reduce effects of stress;
  • using selected relaxation techniques in practice.

Due to the unstable epidemiological situation, and in order to meet the needs of companies that have switched to the home-office mode and are facing the challenge of managing teams who work in dispersed environments, we have prepared an online workshop.

Remote classes enable more people to participate, also those who so far had difficulty in reconciling their professional and personal obligations with additional events organised for employees.

The workshop usually takes 1.5–2 hours. During that time, participants will be presented theoretical knowledge, and will perform various techniques according to the host’s instructions.
