First aid training – advanced injuries

Medical care and preventionFirst aid training – advanced injuries

Some industries are more prone to injuries than others: the production and the construction sectors are areas where the nature of the work and handling of heavy equipment can lead to injuries of employees.

The “Injuries – advanced programme” has been developed for companies that have first aid points equipped with rescue equipment on their premises, and whose employees, due to the nature of their work, are particularly vulnerable to various types of injuries.

The training programme has been created based on ITLS (International Trauma Life Support) guidelines. It is an extension of the “Injuries – Basic Programme” training.

What will training participants learn?

During the online meeting, the tutor will discuss issues related to advanced injuries that participants might encounter both at work and in private life, e.g. on the way to work or at home.

During one-hour online meeting, participants will be able to learn about the following:

  • Basics of anatomy and physiology,
  • Shock – identification and treatment,
  • Assessment and examination of the injured,
  • Immobilisation by means of an orthopaedic collar and a spinal board,
  • Transport of the injured after the injury.

Thanks to the experience of our trainers and many hours they spend with training participants, our training courses are interesting and engaging. Each participant can ask questions, and broaden the areas that are of particular interest to them.

The online training takes about an hour during which there is a lecture and time for a discussion. We organise training courses using widely available communication platforms: Teams or Clickmeeting.
